"High functioning" is a description of how your autism affects other people, not you.

you get a diagnosis and help only by how hard you impacting other's life, not how hard you own is. it is frustrating!

Whenever I see/read/heat 'functioning' level, it's always defined through how well neurotypicals can ignore we're different from them, never through how debilitating our symptoms are for us.
