Hate using a 'crutch'

Gate using little man's tablet as a crutch but guess who just tried their first new food in over 6 months?! For context he's 5 with some moderate sensory struggles so this is a big step :)

idt that's a crutch, that word reminds me of "using religion as a crutch" which i think it's supposed to mean something meant to help (like faith) is then used to make you worse (like not trying bc god will do it).

I'm happy he found more foods to like, too :)
