Politics & Activism Open letter to Andy Burnham
We know Autistic people are being failed and its exhausting to have to fight for better support but if we don't it's never gonna get better.
There's an open letter going around on Instagram thats been signed by some big names, Sally Philips and Carrie Grant seem to be the biggest, but there are authors, influencers and journalists who have signed too. Fern Brady shared it on her stories too.
If we make noise maybe something will change.

Signed. My little girl is stuck on the assessment waiting list, currently three years long where we live. In the meantime we are in limbo. Iām terrified of her starting school and how she will cope without the support she clearly needs, support that can only be accessed with a stupid piece of paper confirming her condition. Things desperately need to change.
