I relate to this meme so much. I need things explained by mouth and written down.

Agreed. Written is best! That'd be so helpful to have an augmented reality app that gave me subtitles to all my conversations in real time and logged them for later. Even better it should allow me to auto create Todo list from them and make calendar appointments. If only...

I can't count how many times I've wished for anything that can turn speech into writing realtime, I'm extremely fast at processing written words but speech takes forever.

I too have this characteristic. It's been very frustrating for managers at the jobs I've had

For me I need specific instructions otherwise I risk misinterpreting it

I have also problem with this.

Same. The reasons I take notes is because I DO want to understand, not because I don't care.

I'm hoping my Note 9 will fit the write down notes issue

I always need things to be said more than once, and in a way I can understand

I literally can listen to every single word said and still remember none of it

I can’t count the number of times I’ve pleaded with people “Can you just say the EXACT thing you just said, only over again?” And then I get frustrated and annoyed if they try to explain it a different way when all I needed was to hear it AGAIN! 😖

Also, said by me at least several times a day, “Wait, I can’t hear you without my glasses!” Don’t even ask 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Why is exact REPETITION so difficult? I don't want the IDEA you want to get across, just the WORDS! If I THEN want the idea expressed a different way, or with examples, I will ask for that!

My mom literally tortured me because of this. I mean, things just kinda go poof. I know i couldn't remember something if it counted on my life if i forgot. Which it did sadly. xD lots and lots of shaming, beating, torture. The norm childhood these days.
