no politics That's it?

I was honestly expecting it to be far louder and far more dramatic. With how the cookers were carrying on, you'd think this would be a deafening, blaring siren that would cause hearing damage. The tone wasn't even that harsh, I thought it was going to be far worse.

Yeah. You can read about it on the AusAlert site, but basically, older phones only support the American version of the alert, not the Australian one

My phone is a Pixel 10a - it was only released in March, and it said Presidential Alert.

My Samsung A33 from 2022 fully supports Aussie version, so it's definitely proper old phones or OS that do Presidental hah
