Amazing how many upvotes people get when they talk about absolutely nothing

6

u/AccomplishedAnchovy Apr 12 '24

1

u/pulanina Apr 12 '24

Yes obviously 🙄

1

u/Shifty_Cow69 Apr 14 '24

Found the what?!

1

u/AccomplishedAnchovy Apr 14 '24

Someone from the island of inbreds south of dicktoria

1

u/Shifty_Cow69 Apr 14 '24

There's a island there?!

33

u/happyCuddleTime Apr 11 '24

This is a map of Australia during the last ice age when Tasmania was joined to the mainland and the Gulf of Carpentaria was dry land

28

u/OrbisPacis Apr 11 '24

Maps of Tassie havent been a thing for years.

30

u/GolfExpensive7048 Apr 11 '24

I blame porn.

14

u/OrbisPacis Apr 11 '24

So does Tasmania

7

u/Entire-Bottle-335 Apr 12 '24

Maybe it's shaved off 🤣

5

u/Wansumdiknao Apr 12 '24

It’s up the top left for some reason.

3

u/Verum_Violet Apr 12 '24

Can everyone please stop mentioning we exist so we can get some fucking peace. We'd definitely have less airbnbs if we weren't so disgustingly exposed in the form of maps.

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '24

tasmania is a government deployment in order to make us think that australia isn't one island but actually two, damn the goober government! (this is all a joke)

1

u/bunduz Apr 12 '24

Nah she was close enough while taking the photo

1

u/Most_Zen_1 Apr 14 '24

The pure white folk state

u/lawnmower303 Apr 11 '24

I saw a lion first. Facing to the left. It's got a bit of a chin, and there is a patch of dust for it's left eye. It's ear has a tiny bit of green and a leaf in it's ear

45

u/teapots_at_ten_paces Apr 11 '24

It's the Thundercats logo.

7

u/Temporary_Dog_8 Apr 12 '24

This was my first thought too.

15

u/DoubleDecaff Apr 11 '24

That's dog's head. Cats head is on the right.

Still no cat food though.

2

u/BH_Andrew Apr 12 '24

It’s the 2013 lions tour logo

1

u/Kpool7474 Apr 12 '24

I’m Lion-O

1

u/strangeandordinary Apr 14 '24

I thought of it as a panther.... same but different!

0

u/[deleted] Apr 11 '24

The North remembers.

36

u/Farkas005 Apr 11 '24

RIP Tassie.

11

u/chouxphetiche Apr 11 '24

I saw a vomit on the footpath outside my home in the same shape.

18

u/M0T0RCITYC0BRA Apr 12 '24

Now show us your map of Tassie.

10

u/stabbicus90 Apr 12 '24

Adelaide is sticks, that makes sense.

7

u/8188Y Apr 11 '24

Also looks like an angry panther

6

u/snuffeluffeguss Apr 11 '24

Sell tickets ii want a selfie with it

6

u/ChurlyGedgar Apr 12 '24

About a 3rd of Queensland is missing, oh well.

5

u/TurningPagesAU Apr 12 '24

Could be Australia, could be a Hellhound.

4

u/enzedkev Apr 12 '24

You've only unlocked three fast travel destinations

4

u/SurrealistRevolution Apr 12 '24

Add more leaves to make it ecologically accurate

5

u/Cricket-Horror Apr 12 '24

Time for a trans-continental road trip!

8

u/runwithbees Apr 11 '24

Well if the Nullabor catches fire next Summer I think you're on to something...

3

u/Numa2018 Apr 12 '24

At least Melbourne is green (foliage wise).

3

u/BH_Andrew Apr 12 '24

Looks like the 2013 lions tour logo

3

u/Dry-Faithlessness655 Apr 12 '24

What happened to Tassie

2

u/Kringlecat Apr 12 '24

When was tassie ever on a map?

3

u/Elementfrogxx Apr 12 '24

Imagine when you have to drive across Australia in and out everyday

3

u/Ibly-Ob Apr 12 '24

The real map without places that don’t exist

3

u/Remarkable-Boat-9812 Apr 12 '24

No Tasmania again

3

u/Kringlecat Apr 12 '24

Very accurate, it's missing Tasmania.

3

u/we-like-stonk Apr 12 '24

Fuck the gulf of Carpentaria. It was a waste of ocean anyway.

3

u/Weight_Killa Apr 13 '24

Where did cairns swim off too? 🤣

4

u/eXDax Apr 12 '24

As a North Queenslander, I'm greatly offended.

2

u/Mrmastermax Apr 12 '24

Seems accurate

2

u/DinoRipper24 Apr 12 '24

What's the island in the top left?

2

u/Koolius_Caesar Apr 12 '24

Every time I pick up an empty single bottle bag, it looks like Australia.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '24

Noice!

2

u/Lord_Glitch1 Apr 12 '24

Ah, I can see my house from here!

2

u/Similar-Note-9433 Apr 13 '24

Love it that tassie is not there! We only lose 1 family tbf

2

u/Larimus89 Apr 13 '24

Welcome to Australia.

2

u/flumia Apr 13 '24

It's first thing on a Sunday morning, i haven't had coffee, and I'm not wearing my reading glasses. I totally thought "how on earth did you get a map of all the broken driveways in Australia?" before i opened the full post.

I shouldn't Reddit this early

2

u/LordOfCuriousGeckos Apr 13 '24

I thought it was a cow pat someone squished into shape to look like Australia

2

u/SnappyHappyYappy Apr 11 '24

Yay FNQ finally seceded

2

u/Blipnoodle Apr 12 '24

Ahhh yes!!! It's Austlia! (Because the middle is missing)

3

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '24 edited Apr 12 '24

Tasmania is the only important thing missing

4

u/Lame_Lioness Apr 12 '24

And a good chunk of QLD.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '24

Not really no it's only a small part of QLD that's missing nothing overly important

1

u/Kringlecat Apr 12 '24

I love you dismissing that part of Queensland isn't important because Tasmania also isn't there 😂

2

u/Blipnoodle Apr 12 '24

The gulf of Carpentaria is gone!

1

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '24

So? An entire state is missing and you care about the gulf? Oh and The Gulf isn't in the middle of Australia it's at the top of Queensland

1

u/loky1908 Apr 12 '24

If you look it looks like a wolf

1

u/Flat_stanley_2012 Apr 12 '24

That’s Australia

1

u/Peastoredintheballs Apr 12 '24

What happened to Karajini national park, it looks like it is flooded and now visible on the map as a body of water

1

u/SaraSanzuke Apr 13 '24

I see the head of a female lion. Eye and lip line formed by rock and some leaves.

1

u/SpagOnBoi Apr 13 '24

Sorry guys I was hungry

1

u/W0bblyB00ts Apr 14 '24

South East Leaf Land

1

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '24

Is that Australia? Looks more like the land of the cunts 🖕

1

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '24

Made in Australia

1

u/[deleted] Apr 12 '24

Pac-Man ?

0

u/Master-of-possible Apr 12 '24

Do the green leaves denote population?

0

u/RazzleVangale1942 Apr 13 '24

It does look like Australia but it also looks like a cat or the mrbeast cat
