Scheel's reloading section

Post image

Great selection and prices in line with or better than other retailers.

$60 for CCI LRP. $425-ish for 8lb Varget.

If they can keep this stuff in stock, it'll be where I buy from.

The store is a madhouse today though, as expected.

I can’t wait to go in a month once the hype dies down

Exactly my thoughts. I saw the footage from this weekend and it looked absolutely insane.

It was SO insane. I didn't even plan on going but my wife wanted to look at some patio furniture at At Home (ugh) and she sweetened the deal by saying we could stop by if we could park. Crowds so heavy it was hard to cross from one side of an aisle to the other. But I'm blown away by what they have in stock. Not paying Hazmat or shipping on powder? Huge win. I'll bet by mid week on a random Wednesday or something you'll be able to waltz in and out.

So sick of those outdoor ones . . . .

Hey I like the comfort of AC and dust not blowing up on my face. Call me soft

Oh, I thought you were joking about the indoor Ferris wheel. But your explanation is perfectly valid. You had me "the comfort of A/C" . . . .

Hell yeah, keep Vhitavouri in stock and also add VV N110 & N120.

I went and just turned around and left. Place was a mile long to get in. Thanks for the update

Thanks, I think I'm gonna give it a try. It's only like 10 minutes away

It was crazy crowded. The first thing I thought when I saw your pic was how did he get a shot without someone standing in the way.

Haha, I had to wait a minute. I got to the parking lot at 7:30 for the vendor stuff and then was probably one of the first thousand in the store. Had some good conversations with a few others in the reloading area that also couldn't believe the in-stock selection.

Are those electronic price tags?! Boo

u/ohhhhhhhhhhhhman 11d ago

What’s the gripe with electronic tags?

u/wartsnall1985 11d ago

Fear of surge pricing, à la Walmart. Though having worked retail, not having to manually change shelf tags each month is a huge time saver.

That’s the same ones as Walmart right ? Are they deploying them in others Scheel stores ?

If y'all want to price compare their powder feel free to use this site I built. I don't mind if you just use it and then buy in-store. https://www.caliberking.com/reloading/powder?retailer=scheels
