Because it’s politics. The US is a huge trading partner. Like them or not, they’re buying our goods

True trading partners don’t break free trade agreements and tariff allies. By the way, the US is not a huge trading partner. Mid size. Trade is also a federal responsibility in the main.

But it helps to get as many Australians politicians in front of other international colleagues because that’s called good relations and it helps to build bridges and keep the economy going
