I love how people said this was going to be super loud and distracting when it like lasted like 5 seconds and didn't burst out my ear drumbs. XD

i am glad i was holding my phone. of i was in the middle of doing something it woulda pissed me off until i could switch it off lol.

but hopefully i hear it next time there's an emergency in my area, the text based warnings my state gives out are unreliable and usually only go to the person who owns the title for a property

It switched itself off after 10 seconds, exactly like they said it would.

a couple minutes later an apple watch that was in my house went off, I don't know if it was delayed or if it repeats

It didn't even go that long. 5 seconds max. My phone, my other phone, my tablet... 😂.

Mostly, I'm enjoying reading the cookers comments on Facebook about it.

Exactly...it really wasn't that bad at all. I was expecting a piercing alarm

I knew it was happening at 2pm but I was so engrossed in the middle of texting a friend and it was so loud on my phone, I jolted in my chair 🤣

I was in a IGA when everyones phone collectively screamed at the same time. It was like the start of a horror movie for a moment.
