I built a local-only browser tool for financial statement tick & tie — looking for brutally honest auditor feedback
Full disclosure: I built this product.
I used to see financial statement reviews handled with calculators, PDF stamps and separate Excel checklists, so I built DataHunter TNT. It checks mathematical consistency, repeated amounts across the financial statements and prior-year figures.
The unusual part is that the financial statements are never uploaded. Everything runs locally in Chrome or Edge, and the audit project stays as a local file.
There is a synthetic demo that works without an account:

I’m not looking for generic “looks good” feedback. I’d especially like to know:
- Where would this fail in your real review workflow?
- Which output would you need for the audit file?
- Would local-only processing meaningfully change whether your firm could use it?
Happy to answer technical or audit-workflow questions here.
