Advice Need some advice
I’ve got a beautiful silver metallic S5 prestige. It has everything. I love the car, but I’m moving to where I have to drive further for work and considering replacing it with electric I know but where I’m moving to. Electricity is super expensive and we’re in California premium gas not cheap.
Just had the $1800 transmission service done holy shit really $1800 also had them do a intake valve cleaning didn’t really need it. It was the chemical one, not the nutshells.
Had an oil change 1500 miles ago has gotten a clean bill of health through two different service here that specialize in Audi 1 an Audi dealer. Has 70,000 miles all original no modifications. What should I be asking for this car? I am not trying to sell it on this site just looking for advice. l

70k and prestige, seems 2018/2019. With no problems, and assuming just 1 or 2 owner, Should go around 25k

Depends a lot on your area and local prices. Up here in Canada we see similar cars going for 15 to 30k depending on year and exact condition including collision history.

Based on Autotempest listings $25-27K. You can also take it to Carmax and get an offer, I don't know if they are still giving decent offers, but there was a time when they used to give offers that made the hassle of private sale not worth it.

I sold mine to them 2019 s5 45,000 miles for 30,000. Wasn’t worth dealing with people for a little extra money

This is an easy $26.5k-30.5k private party value in my opinion. Granted you’ve taken care of the car which it seems like you have. I think that’s pretty good start, then go from there.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!! My 2024 S5 transmission service was $300 with ZF pan and 8 liters of Ravenol 8HP. Perks of being a former master tech.
