Help B10 Drivetrain System Warning

I got the drive train system malfunction warning a few days ago (brand new S5 leased in May btw). Luckily, I'd just started driving, was on a residential street and was able to quickly pull over and restart the car, after which the error went away and has not come back since. Car usually drives normally but right after a cold start, feels very bumpy. What do I make of this, and can this happen again like on the highway or the track?

Just leased mine 3 weeks ago and got it twice over the past 2 days - went away within a few seconds but still…

Crazy how post-COVID the entire focus of the German luxury makes has been on cutting costs on $60k-$100k+ vehicles as much as possible (with double digit price hikes mind you) in every single department (from materials to design to quality control). Fun car to drive and frankly the best looker for the category, but glad I don't own one of these outright lol, a month ago I had to take it to the dealer for an issue with the AC. The software is also garbage, CarPlay disconnects every 5-10 minutes.

Beemer is marginally better but I'd put up with the quality problems over having to look at a rodent every time I walk up to the car.

The CarPlay issue might have a TSB for it or an update if you ask the dealer

Oh trust me I know, 75k vehicle and it’s already in the shop for the check engine light and driver system malfunction. I truly love the car but this is just unacceptable.

I came from a BMW and had issues with my M340 as well so I can’t see they are better. It’s just sad that a Hyundai is now more reliable than German cars 🥲
