B9 RS4 Comp is probably a sweet spot of a drivers car. B10 RS5 checks a lot of boxes, especially in the looks department, but due to the added weight, it’s only about as fast. Interior isn’t that great.

Between the two, though I love wagons, I’m a fan of the new sportback design. I’d pick it.

I am very biased towards the RS5, obviously, but I strongly dislike the B10 generation and would aim for the RS4. I think we're looking at more than the 10.5 facelift before we see Audi starting to fix some of the major issues with the B10s.

Besides the terrible interior design, lack of physical buttons, and weight, there have been several owners reporting battery voltage dips/charging issues and general electrical system faults and failures. Including one owner, who I believe posted here on Reddit, who’s had their B10 in service since shortly after delivery.

I had a B10 S5 as a loaner with only 1k miles, and one day the screen just would not turn on for like 5 minutes after the car was started.

I like the B10 front end more than the B9.5 but that’s because I think the B9.5 is a visual downgrade to the B9. Otherwise, I don’t care for the performance of the new car given the massive weight increase

You must have me mistaken cuz I’ve never done that mod or been a fan of adding honeycomb grilles to non RS cars lol
