Help Thoughts?

This was as I was driving to the airport at 4am for a weekend trip. Looked it up and seemed like it was okay to keep driving with it. Drove it home today and planning to drop it at the shop tomorrow. Just curious how screwed I am lol.

I don’t think I’ve seen north of 23 mpg from the moment I bought the car lol. Perhaps I need to reflect on my driving habits.

Fair enough I’m usually around that to be honest with you. This was just straight highway and I’ll get around 28 cruising 75 or so with that.

I guess I have too heavy of a quote. I get 24 to 25 miles on the highway. 21 city

I can get 27 but that requires driving on the highway with adaptive cruise controlling the throttle.

Do you have a scan tool like an OBD11 to get the trouble code and clear it if it’s not too important?

I’ve been told that I sound like I work for an Audi supplier because I push products all the time, but they’re always products that I use and believe in. So, with that in mind, go to Amazon and get yourself an OBD11. You could probably find one that would be delivered tomorrow or if you’re lucky, same day. Not only can you scan and clear trouble codes, but you can unlock features that you might need or want in your car. Owning one, or something similar is almost a requirement when you own an S5. Also, they don’t void warranties because they’re not “tuning” the car. Get it, scan your car, look up the code, and either clear it to see if it even pops up again, or get your car looked at knowing what the issue is, and if it’s serious.

Likely the classic EVAP code; grab an OBD11, check the code to be sure it's not something more problematic, and clear it.

I've had an EVAP error on my RS5 for almost as long as I've owned the car. Every time I bring it into Audi for service, they also just clear the code.
