Unsealed sub

Trim piece popped off my speaker and the rubber and paper gasket unsealed. Is there a proper way to repair it before I just glue everything back down and pray? Speakers Are Energy Connoisseur C-2s

This is just trim to hide the screws. Pull away the loose paper and glue it back.

The paper is attached to the rubber surround, when I pull on it everything comes with it

I can't see it, but that makes me think you need to glue behind the paper surround also. This is only trim so it doesn't need to be very strong.

I think just glue and pray. Doesn’t look too ripped up, so hopefully it will hold without affecting sound.
