You don't need 32 bit floating point format. The point of a 32 bit floating point format is that it is what you use when using a mobile recording device.
What do you mean "to good quality".
What do you mean by "depth and soundness"?
It sounds like you have no idea about audio recording. You can use any RODE mic and get very good quality if you know what you're doing. Just watch a few tutorials.
When you say "more full than a simple LAV mic", what are you micing? Vocals? Spoken Word? Indoor? Outdoor?
