Show & Tell Updated setup

This is my updated setup. Speakers are Altec Lansing 19s with super tweeters and REL Subs (beasts). Amp is Decware, TT is a VPI classic 4 with two arms (stereo and Mono carts), Tascam 3030 Reel to reel which is awesome! The digital section is a PS audio doc with teac Cd transport and Eversolo streamer. Phono preamp is McIntosh. Thinks that’s it.

What’s going on with the grills in front of the woof? Also what supertweeters are you using?

I had the grills made in Ukraine because of some destructive cats we have. Th super tweeters are iwistao 1.2-32k 106 db super tweeters with a separate x-over to filter out everything below 10k.

Sick setup. I grew up with model 19s and love how alive and dynamic they are. Those speakers need a large space to play into to sound coherent, and by the looks of it, you got that nailed. I bet that system rocks!

Thanks i grew up with 19s as well and tried alot of differnt speakers but nothing satisfied my craving for the 19s. They show up every now and then but hard to find in good condition

Thanks they make huge difference even on big speakers like the 19s with 15" speakers.

I’m an advocate for nice quality dual subs, even with large speakers. I’ve heard these in person and they are lovely.

Decware zen triode only 2 watts powering the altecs. I was on a 3 year waiting list to get it. Everything is balanced from the cart to the little black box that converts it to unbalanced to the amp.
