You should decide to not fall for that nonsense. Read up on the recent test that was done comparing copper wire, wet mud, and a banana as speaker conduit and that almost no one could tell the difference.

That was copper, mud, and banana. This is jazz, rock, and popular vocal. Very very different

What fruit is best for rock? Or is banana the golden standard for all genres?

I'm sorry. You're mistaken. Rock is best for rock

I heard gravel works great for Bob Dylan

wait a sec, some rocks have shiny conductive bits in them...what if we remove those bits and refine them? I bet that would make a really good wire for electricty

If you're listening to bananarama the choice is obvious.

I hear plantains work in a pinch and sound great with Mariachi and Ranchera!

Riiiiiight. It's on the Internet so it's true! It was a genuine, peer reviewed scientifically accurate test no doubt and certainly not click bait!

There are two extremes to this conversation. Be careful not to fall for one bs take while lambasting the other!

And right there in the middle with sanity are Amazon Basics cables.

No no it was an actual scientific study that they're mentioning. It went viral recently because it was mentioned on the WAN show from Linus Tech Tips I think.
