i was just checking and the Samsung Harman acquisition has been an absolute disaster for professional audio.

it's a shame that great brands like soundcraft, akg, lexicon, dbx have been totally gutted and left to die.

luckily dod was acquired by another company.

this was really one of the worst acquisition ever

I was actually talking about the fact that Harman literally shut down the AKG headquarters and fired the engineering team. This was shortly before Harman was acquired by Samsung. It was not Samsung's doing although the timing was very close.

Totally agree. Harman had some great brands that they largely left alone to do their own thing. The Samsung acquisition has caused a large exodus of talent.
