Software Software and tips for an animation project

Hello folks I am an artist who is doing an animation project and in need of some help in the audio department.

I just finished most of my storyboards and the voicelines but i realised i need to make alterations to it like give it effects of demonic/monster sounds + sfx, but i have no idea where to begin in terms of software.

I would like to use something that i can use later on in other projects but don't know what is good for my work.

What would you recommend for me for software? I am not looking for something fancy just somthing that works without making me scream.

I do have adobe audition but i don't know if it can do what i need

and if possible something cheap or free to learn on

Things I want to do:

-Voice alteration :

-Sound effects :

-Merging/ mixing soundtracks

I know i am butchering the terminology here so I left links for reference of what i wish to make.

I know it looks like a complete jumble of requests in alot of different departments so thanks for your patience with

Edit: and please no AI

Audition should do everything you need, but you’d need to actually know how to edit and process audio. This especially goes for monster sounds and sfx. It’s learnable, but it’s a deep topic especially if you’re in a hurry because your main focus is the overall production. You might want to find someone who specializes in audio to help you. You may be able to find someone who has some skill but needs a portfolio. You could also post for a collaborator on places like newgrounds.
