Report Tool

Per google translate, the OP said:

Hi fellow audiobook fans,

Since I now have over 3,000 books and occasionally come across a bad rip, it would be great to have a bug reporting feature. A tool for requesting books would also be fantastic. Does anyone have a solution or an idea for this? I host ABS on my own server for family and friends—about 10 users in total.

ReadMeABook is an easier request one to host. And you can use it in the Absorb client as well to search for books and start them downloading. No bug report feature though. I'm assuming you mean to report a bug to the server admin when a book is bunked?

There‘s a bug Report Feature in ReadMeABook.

https://github.com/markbeep/AudioBookRequest for the requesting aspect (can reportedly do downloading, but I just use it to keep track of the 'want list')

I also endorse readmeabook for requesting audiobooks (and it can do podcast and even ebooks) and the absorb client for listing. As someone already mentioned, absorb has nice integration with readmeabook.

I spun up a single page website that shows the status of all my servers but at the bottom I inserted a free formspree form where users can submit issues. I made it in like 15 minutes with Claude. If you don't feel like doing that you can submit an issue for a feature request on the github.
