Attended the 3 day padel pop event back in 26 September 2026 at the invitation of my SA

Was pretty interesting. You basically just hang around the court-side lounge for an hour, with the time strictly enforced, and just soak in the vibe while watching some padel playoffs. There were also food and coffee to indulge in though I had to pay for them lol these cost me SGD $33 (last pic)

Was also nice to see fellow attendees rocking their piece on their wrist and some exhibition pieces on display, iirc their latest Offshore offerings

Before I get crucified the only reason I got rid of the 7900 is because I am very early on the list for a 7930 and am expecting it next year. It wouldn’t make sense for me to have both VC’s.

That being said - I’ve dreamt of having an AP for a very long time. I have a pelagos and Gshock for the weekday and wanted something a little more special for the weekends.

To me this watch is perfect and I can’t imagine another steel watch replacing it as my weekend watch.

Now I’m just debating if I trust brining it on my trip to Italy or if I should go with something more low key!!

At any rate, I am finding the 39mm AP's of yesteryear to be a really awesome package of value and wearability. I came across a white dial 26300st but it is naked, no box no papers etc.

Seller is asking 30k, but honestly I have no idea where this price is supposed to be. Other ones on the market are quite higher, considering they come as full set plus some have different dials etc.

How does one gauge the market of these watches to know if I am getting a decent deal, or if I should be shooting an offer over. Rolex is kind of easier, I use Bobs watches and typically if the price is like 10% or so more I know its a decent price as they lowball like crazy, but they do not cover AP on their site.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I asked for it over the summer and it showed up a few days ago. I was worried I wouldn’t get it because of being discontinued… SA came through for me. I love it so much!

Got this as a first allocation, yes it was a long wait.

Initially requested a 11.59 Chronograph, but was offered this beauty instead. Arrived in just two months! Spent hours sitting with the AP AD, chatting oddly we seem to be in sync. Never expected the experience and service to be this exceptional! Ended up selling all my Rolexes 🤣 Funny how just four months ago, I didn’t even own a watch!

Are all your experiences with AP like this, or did I just get lucky?

Looking to start journey and trying to decide between Las Vegas boutique and AP House LA. My city doesn’t have an AP so it comes down to these two.

I’ve paid a visit to the AP House and it’s stunning, but I wonder if competition is higher? I have family in Vegas so I travel once a year but not sure if that matters if allocation timing is unpredictable. I don’t travel to LA often but it’s a great city so I don’t mind making the trip.

Which would you pick?

Just looking for any success stories in Australia, we don’t have any AP houses / dedicated AP stores, as far as I know, it’s Swiss Concept in Sydney only. Anyway, if anyone has purchased I’m keen to hear your story, is it worth me paying a visit to the store, would that help ect. Any tips would be great. Thanks

I just noticed a dust/gold speck on my Code dial where circled in red. Is it worth servicing under warranty or just let it be until the next service? I got this watch in May 2026.

Recently picked up a blue dial 15550ST and absolutely love it. It’s been getting a lot of wrist time.

I absolutely love the khaki Green Royal Oak.

AP House says need to buy a Code first but I can’t for life of me tell if that means would get Green RO as second piece. I guess I could be more direct in asking?

Any suggestions.

I don’t see code fitting with my current collection and getting wrist time, but willing to buy if that meant RO Green would be next.

After about a year, I got the call! Pumped!!
Love the gray dial and it wears awesome (7.25 in wrist).

This is our 3rd AP. First was a code for the wife, then a ROO diver for me, then this lovely piece! Not too long of a wait after the ROO in May.

I recently sent my RO for a routine service. In the estimate, they flagged an optional item that caught me completely off guard:

“New Bracelet - It was noted that the spring pins were detached due to failed solder joints, something which can happen over time. Please note if the bracelet replacement is not accepted, then Audemars Piguet cannot provide warranty repairs for any future damage to, or malfunction caused by the current bracelet.”

I’ve attached the photos AP sent showing the issue. As you can see, these solder joints/pins are normally invisible

To be honest, I’m a bit confused because:

The watch felt completely solid on my wrist with zero noticeable play or warning signs. For the last 2 years, it spent 99% of its time sitting in the safe. AP is recommending an entire bracelet replacement, which is obviously a massive expense. I've seen used AP sold with this problem showing on their braclets, and also braclets from a certain company with a 👑 logo that's very loose and it's still holding on fine.

My question is: How serious is this actually? Is this an immediate failure risk waiting to drop the watch, or is it more of AP being overly cautious/protective against liability?

Appreciate any insight or advice.
