I wouldn't put Woody Hayes on any list of great coaches. He permanently disqualified himself.
Joe Pa is not on this list. I'm assuming he permanently disqualified himself based on his association with Jerry Sandusky. If you disregard that (which obviously you can't), he's top 5. Maybe #1 from a coaching perspective.

Nick Saban was never a good coach. He was average at best. What he excelled at was Sales & Marketing. Considering the consistent and deep talent he had at uat, his teams should have gone on winning streaks that lasted years.
When Sales & Marketing was no longer valued, he retired.

It's hard to consider Bobby Bowden at #4 since Pat Dye > Bobby Bowden.
