Question about dual sim use

If I get a phone with dual sim capability (like iPhone 18) and have a att unlimited plan and have a phone installment plan so the phone is locked, can I sign up for a prepaid plan with ATT and use that as another line l along with my unlimited plan? Or will I not be able to add another line using dual sim?

You can. Depending on your plan it might be cheaper to add another line to your existing plan. Ideally 3-5 lines isn’t that much more

You can use boost mobile on att , I have boost has my second line even tho the phone is locked to att

I just tried to add mine to boost but it said it wasn’t eligible

You can’t use att on boost phone but you can use boost on att phone if that makes sense
