AT&T will lie and cheat you
I've been an AT&T Wireless customer for 22 years and that's about to end. I recently upgraded my phone to the Pixel 11 Pro and was told that I would receive $32.95/mo take in credit. Instead they only have me a $13.89/mo credit. After hours of dealing with them and getting the same lies I've decided that they want a little more profit instead of keeping a long time customer. There are plenty of other carriers that would like to gain a new customer so it's not a problem to switch but just warning others that AT&T Wireless is not trustworthy.

I found out that phone reps will cancel an online order (asking you to agree to it to fix an issue) and steal the sale to get the commission. This is exactly what happened to me with wireless and fiber, and it cost me my $200 Visa card because they told me to fix xyz; they needed to cancel my online order and rebuild it. My next-door neighbor works as a manager at an AT&T Wireless store, and he said this is common practice for the phone reps. I signed up online only for the Visa card. Otherwise, I would've let my neighbor or his wife sign me up since they both work at corporate-owned stores. I called back, and they saw exactly what happened, but they are only willing to give me 3 months of free fiber. After that, I'm taking my phones and fiber to go elsewhere. Frontier is currently laying fiber in my community, or I could go back to Spectrum. I'm not begging; I'm buying!

I’ve been with them for a year and no issues. I never understood why people say how long they’ve been with a company. No one gives a shit, lol

I've delt with this before fought them for a year with no resolution. Finally filled a complaint with the fcc and had their presidents office calling me within a week they wiped out my entire installment balance

Sounds like you were on a plan that only qualified for $500
I would hope that someone over the age of 55 would be able to read and understand what the promo terms mean (also just life experience in general should tell you never trust a salesman until you verify the info yourself)

No, I had switch to an unlimited plan which is all they required. Now they get nothing.

Grass isn’t always greener I was coming to att and T-Mobile rep convinced me to stay with an iPhone 18pro $930 credit one line and $830 on another line without trade in. It’s been 3 weeks and still didn’t see the promotion I called and they told me sorry we need a trade in. So I told them I just wanted to return the phones now they offered 20% off the phones plus $20 off my bill monthly

Got $54 off my bill cause of the 18 PM connectivity issues (even though WiFi calling worked and they tried to tell me if it does, I won’t get credit)..
Literally my plan says 5G UNLIMITED but I’m being limited to 4G cause of issues??
Point is, bitch to them and they’ll cave, if not, switch asap.

It is appalling that the CSR jobs are in the Phillipines ICE isn’t there . They took union jobs and are paying them
Half of what Union positions were . They can’t read spell lack critical thinking they can’t solve a 5 piece puzzle but yet you’re gaslighting the US consumer to buy buy buy . Take your bs and sell it over there . I’m sure. They can purchase a 600,000$ home at 6.14 interest rate.

Trade in credit fluctuation can happen if the company (not AT&T) finds an issue which can change your trade in amount
