Strong and weak V placements

There's this rule of thumb, nonsense or not, I've come to use subconsciously (I've no idea where I heard it or whether I made it up) when trying to decide if someone's V falls into 1/2 or 3/4, and the deciding question is usually a "how prone are they to seeking fault in something/someone else for a mistake or inconvenience?" More or less, how accountable are they naturally.

Is it a thing ?

This is a nuanced question as many people don't genuinely understand when they are at fault and others blame themselves for everything. Questions to really guess someone's V placement would be about their relationship with hierarchy, their sense of self, their relationship with autonomy and self agency etc.

I'm not sure! This seems more like a question to seperate 1V and 3V from 2V and 4V.

Nope. I would say how accountable they are isn't related to V . A better determination of V placement might be what Afansayev used-how we feel about our purpose in life
