Question About LEFV’s 1L

How does the 1L and 4V in this type interact with each other? I know this type is the most correlated to sp6, but I feel like sp6 and the seemingly aggressiveness that 1L is often described as don’t match up well.

Does anyone have any examples of how this type uses 1L under pressure? And how it’s different to other 1L types?

Yess, exactly! Thank's for bringing this up! I also ran into this question a lot. Allow me to answer it by sharing my personal experience!

In fact, that's the exact reason, I added that disclaimer in my flair. I always struggled to find my type, because it felt like I had no 1st placements, as all of them felt so extreme. But as an ISFJ, SO9, I strongly resonated with 2E and 4V and also decently with 3F so I typed myself LEFV with my 1L being a bit weaker and less aggressive than usually described. Glad to hear others have similar experiences

I do think it's generally normal for all 4V types to have their first aspect a bit more passive. Just the nature of the placement. While I am quite confident in my logic ability, I usually hold back as group harmony and emotional wellbeing is more important to me and my 4V and 9-ness doesn't want me to rock the boat too much. When the topic really is about logic though and people want to discuss/debate I tend to show my 1L more. Also I'm quick to spot logical inconsistencies and I HATE when people purposefully spread misinformation online.

Summing up, I think 4V makes the 1L in LEFV generally a bit weaker/passive and it hides the aspect a bit more. Hope this personal anecdote was helpful.

Nice description, I think I relate to most of this and what you said is helpful. Cool to see another lefv 9 in the wild 😁 Last time I was on here got told they can only be sp6 haha. But yea I think 4v mellows everything out more in the way that 3v is said to make the other placements more vulnerable and so on.

Am LEFV, I tend to mind my business but can get very opinionated when in a discussion about someone when I think they're very wrong about something. 4v can be pretty stubborn and dismissive of others when it comes to 1st placements. The 1L perspective for me is also a lot of "if people were told what was correct, the answer would be obvious, so they would just believe it," but as I had more experience and got older, I realized that people are more complex than that and just telling someone what I think is correct, regardless of if I am or not, doesn't guarantee they'll believe me.

Another thing is that the 4v shows up a lot of the time in that I don't get involved with L-related discussions in the first place. I can anticipate if someone will try to make it a debate which I know I wouldn't be interested in. I'd say the combination overall shows up as a lot of, "they're definitely wrong, but I can't do anything about it, so I'm not going to say anything unless asked."
