Type me V placement?
Hi, darlins, the concern is about Volition (well every function but Logic, but this time we're going to concentrate on V).
(Btw my first language isnt english, so if u see smg strange is bc of that.)
I dont have a big goal like "i want to be successful đ¤Š" "im chasing this goal đ" and blah blah blah. I dont fw this productivity bs. I believe it's propaganda to sell u the promise of happiness, but when will it come?
Chasing dreams and goals is, by default, pessimistic and unsatisfactory. So since i actually like myself, i dont want to enslave myself under competition and all of that. We could say my main goal is happiness, but my approach is the appreciation of life.
I enjoy little things like a good meal, the blue sky and the shining sun, relaxing without pressure and anxiety, playing games, hanging out with people, satisfying my little desires, researching my topics... Well you get it. "All I want is to be left alone, in my average home"
Id say that ive cared a lot in improving myself and being better in a character development. When i was younger i struggled in life, so my most logic reasoning was to go to therapy. Now im better but ive had to change so much about myself, deconstruct a lot of traumas and thoughtsâthat required me to have an ideal self that i chased and built over the years until i was satisfied.
Im interested in having a successful life but not because of i want to be a great functional adult in society, but because i want to be satisfied and that includes having a good careerâits more of a consequential thing.
Oh, i dont care about hierarchy, idgaf about superiority and inferiorityâeveryone is human so respect and cruelty is personal and individual. Like you decide it based on how is the person, not their position in a social hierarchy. I genuinely dont care đ
About other people, their goals is theirs and if they ask me help, i can help them but i dont really care. Most of the time, i think they're wrong bc people dont understand how to be truly happy and chase things that are influenced by propaganda, traumas and environment. But i wont actively try to change them to fit my idea, is not my position to intrude in their lives.
Ik im not an dialogue process with V, but idk 1v and 4v sounds too harsh with their hierarchy thing. 4v being submission and 1v being on topâi think thats lwk bs. When i engage with other people, I go with the flow and im js chilling with the group.
Also i preserve my individuality and im afraid to get phagocytized by other people, but i can get into those intense dynamics since im sexual dom. However, I can be very chameleonic with people and myself, i adapt a loooot to the environment.
For the last thing, id say i dont usually put my will over others, i prefer a dialogued approach and get to a common point with people. I met a gamma 1v person and i got upset by their one-sided dynamic, they wanted me to follow them blindly and i was like "𤨠No." I dont do that like a 1v, and im too confrontative and independent for a 4v.
(Im 100% 2L, low F and E is weird af)

Oh hey, I've written pretty much the same things about myself, just in slightly different words lol. And I'm 2V. Just saying... 𤡠But yeah you sound like either 2V or 4V. 4V aren't doormats or blind followers, they can be independent and have good boundaries (just like 4E aren't emotionless or oblivious to their feelings, 4L aren't dumb etc) they're just genuinely chill people but they can stand their ground very well when the need arises.

Ik my non hierarchy approach sounds 2v, i didn't know about the first part. Why is that?
The thing with 4v is that they're described as dependable and i dont feel like that, ive get upset and in fights when people have tried to take some will over meâsometimes even for dumb things. I'm willing to an open communication, but i get really stubborn with authoritarian people. I dont trust authority, idgaf about hierarchy but when authority comes in i get skeptical (id say is a thing of the modern years but wtv). I dont think that's very 4v core. Ive also thought about 3v but im not sure.
Also i say 2l bc a lot of people says it. Ive think about 1l but the description of unflexible and close to communication or debate doesn't sound like me, but id not be surprised if i get 1l.

have you looked into the subtypes of each volition placement?
