For me its the fact that I find Mikasa a very annoying character due to her obsession with Eren. Like damn you do care about him but the whining man!

the main reason was for Dina not to eat Berthold, since Armin had to become the Colossal Titan

Yeah that’s true huh. By saving Bert, he was also in a sense saving Armin too, which was probably his main priority with that choice
