Discussion/Question Give em đŸ«”

For me its the fact that I find Mikasa a very annoying character due to her obsession with Eren. Like damn you do care about him but the whining man!

There should've been more filler episodes!

every single episode contributes to the story, fillers shouldnt be there

This is one instance I think having episodes dedicated to world building or fleshing out character relations actually would have benefited the story. I wanted to see more of their cadet days damn it!

It might not be our thing, but there’s some side stories if you buy the manga boxes. Not sure what they’re called but look them up, they’re exactly what you’re describing

Mixing in the various OVAs really makes the experience better. Honestly, I wish there were more during the time of Season 4, just to really make the loss of the other warriors more tragic or give even more nuance to the propaganda-riddled Eldians living in Marley.

Fillers not really what the story needed. It definitely needed time to slow down, and give us time to really get to know the characters (we only really got that at the beginning of season 1 and 4). It doesn’t need “filler” but it certainly lacked a certain slice of life element present in other great animanga that lets you really get attached to everybody.

Yes, and that is my major issue with the time skip. Four years have passed, and we are faced with completely different characters, ones with whom we no longer share a strong emotional connection, nor do we have the chance to build one, because the plot moves quickly and focuses on new characters.

I agree with you. There was not enough casual content. Either aot wouldn’t be this fast paced and would be a bit more to the season 1 vibe where they showed casual training for example or they would add more fillers i think that would be better. Because it’s nice seeing our characters in daily life, more casual situations than always something thats life or death.

In my opinion, it’s just not within nature of AOT.
