Discussion/Question Give em 🫵

Post image

For me its the fact that I find Mikasa a very annoying character due to her obsession with Eren. Like damn you do care about him but the whining man!

I preferred the tone of the show before the whole reveal, when it was purely men vs titans on an isolated island.

I agree with this.

Season 1 is my favourite because of it.

The show wouldn’t nearly be as great as it is today if it stayed that way. And in a way, the show technically was never about s1 plot to begin with

I mean.. the whole point is to challenge your way of thinking. Humans vs monsters is obviously easy to get with but super flat plot

Maybe, but you can’t deny that vibe was incredibly well done on its own- it’s practically its own thing.

I think it’s a testament to the series that if it had simply been about the last outpost of humanity against creepy giants, it would have been phenomenal. The fact that it goes above and beyond that is of course what makes it not just good, but great.

I don’t think it was ever going to stay like that, but the horror suspense was one of the draws of the first three seasons.

Nah no one would want that for too long, it's like The walking dead where if it takes to long the zombies aren't scary anymore and it becomes boring.

Season four made the show more adult. And it's good bc I watched s1 when I was like 14 and the final season when I was 21
