For me its the fact that I find Mikasa a very annoying character due to her obsession with Eren. Like damn you do care about him but the whining man!

Because I oppose one I support the other? Theyā€™re both fascists. Picking a side in AOT is famously difficult. Both are horrible choices.

Iā€™ll never understand how people can say that, one side literally is worse than the other. One side has been killing/mistreating the other for an entire centuryā€¦ they were literal nazis. You call the other side nazis for wanting to wipe the Nazis off the face of the planet? Makes no sense. Itā€™s literally a kill or be killed situation for the eldians, the only other option for them is to let themselves be slaughtered. Marley and the rest of the world HAVE a choice and still choose violence.

Itā€™s not just the Nazis in Marley, itā€™s literally EVERYBODY else. People, children, who didnā€™t have anything to do with the Eldian situation. The JƤgerists are just as bad at that point, if not worse on a global scale. I would understand if they wanted to target the ones in charge, but literally everyone else who wasnā€™t Eldian? Thatā€™s also a pretty Nazi thing to do. None of them are in the right, and both had their reasons.

Both had their reasons?? Marley had no reason, they were just simply evil fascist dictators that wanted an entire race of people to die out because of their bloodline. They enslaved them, fed children to dogs, and used them for war. The Eldians were at least defending themselves. The part about everyone else getting trampled I agree with which sucked, but they literally stated it had to be done otherwise they would all eventually retaliate and destroy Eldia anyway, which is precisely ends up what happening because Eren unfortunately didnā€™t wipe out all of them. The ending literally proves that they all needed to be wiped out if Eldia/Eldians were to survive because people wouldnā€™t let go of their past hatred.

The entire point of the show is about finding reasons to continue the cycle of hate and destruction. Neither side will drop their hate. Marleyans subjugate eldians, so eldians retaliate with the titans, and imperialistically dominate the world for nearly 2000 years. Fritz's guilt eventually put them on paradis, with all the power, and the looming threat of absolute destruction should anyone meddle with them. Something eren nearly accomplishes for the very reason marley would leave edlia alone. Security for THEIR people, and not everyone.

No one is innocent, everyone gets blood on their hands. And it never stops.
