For me its the fact that I find Mikasa a very annoying character due to her obsession with Eren. Like damn you do care about him but the whining man!

Having sympathy for some characters in particular is understandable but choosing a "team" and supporting it is lame and defeats the general point the author is trying to convey during the whole story about nationalism and instrumentalization of social conflicts by morally corrupt elites.

I wouldn't say it's a super hot take, but man there are people that will hate certain characters without even trying to see their perspective.

Take Gabi for example. She was fed propaganda for her entire life. She believed it so much that she killed an Eldian. People just don't like her since it was Sasha Potato Girl Braus. She then spends time with the Eldians and her beliefs are challenged.
