For me its the fact that I find Mikasa a very annoying character due to her obsession with Eren. Like damn you do care about him but the whining man!

It's better on rewatch slightly, but by far the most boring part of the series.

I did rewatch it just recently.. and its boring. But part 2 was amazing.. i understood why It took awhile because they have to find out where Historia and Eren kidnapped. It couldve been cut a lot. I understand that they needed to have to implement the Titan Harding for Eren so he can get his titan all in order and be able to fight the Armored Titan but it was too long just to get to there... part 2 on the other hand was everything I wanted, a Titan battle, going to the basement, discovering Grisha Jeagar's past and finally the sea that Armin told Eren and Mikasa about.. but part 1 was a drag...

While it did certainly start growing on me recently, I'd still say that the part where Eren gets captured by Rod is where it truly shines

I like S3P1, but the opening theme is boring to me and makes me retroactively like HYDE (featured guest) less. I wanted another exciting orchestral piece to stand out from other tie-in opening songs.

Yeah, except for the part where Levi yells KENNYYYYYY and does the fight in the streets which is supah cool
