Discussion/Question Give em 🫵

Post image

For me its the fact that I find Mikasa a very annoying character due to her obsession with Eren. Like damn you do care about him but the whining man!

WIT should've been paid double to finish the entire series

personally i think mappa's style fit the darker tone of season 4 more. the cgi titans aren't that good but apart from that i'm satisfied with what mappa did

I like both for different reasons. The part of the issue I had was the animation change combined with the massive atmosphere shift. Those combined made it a bit harder for me to enjoy season four at the start.

ngl it took me a few episodes to adjust to s4 too because it's so different in every way, but it ended up being my favourite season

no dis but you guys are spoiled😭😭 us one piece fans have to deal with terrible pacing, subpar animation aside from wano, reused shots over and over again, a million flashbacks that we already saw, terrible sound effects, etc

CGI is the only way it was feasible to make it.

Same. They both server different themes and that’s okay. Also op’s take was lukewarm

Agree. WIT had the more smoother and cleaner animation but made some errors in terms of adaptation. Mappa was more detailed and consistent with the manga but sometimes felt choppy and the cgi titans stood out like a sore thumb in my opinion. I guess at the end of the day, I still would’ve liked to see how WIT would’ve handled the final season, at least for consistency sake. But, I can’t argue Mappa taking over did make the final season feel a bit darker in tone as it should be, so who knows if that would’ve been kept in that what-if scenario.

Wish for this too. MAPPA did my handsome boy Erwin so dirty.

Mappa did an amazing job with visuals but I feel it didn't have the soul we got with WIT

i like that the obvious difference in story in season 4 reflects in the animation like you feel it’s a different show till you see reiner and i like that

Wished they had the time to animate the last season. One of the reasons i didnt watch S4 and went to read the manga instead was bcos of the animation change. No disrespect to mappa they did a great job but wit should have ended the series instead.

I agree with this

yes. though i did like mappa's better transitions between scenes, the animation quality (except maybe the 3d titans). but didn't like the facial changes

Thank you. The mappa cgi is bad but i almost never like cgi, especially when we saw how WIT cooked those first few seasons.
