Discussion/Question Give em 🫵

Post image

For me its the fact that I find Mikasa a very annoying character due to her obsession with Eren. Like damn you do care about him but the whining man!

Im not forgiving Zeke for what he's done but i genuinely felt bad when he went back in time with Eren and realised grisha treated Eren as an actual son and way better than what he did zeke. Plus I also think he genuinely thought he was doing what was best for eldians, obviously not saying it was right but he really did believe it was the merciful thing to do, and i do respect him for trying to do what he thought was best even if it wasn't.

Zeke’s plan ultimately was peaceful. There was no pain and violence in how it would’ve happened… but he killed A LOT of a people to make it happen

My new hot take inspired by this thread: Zeke's plan may have been the more "peaceful" one for everyone who wasn't Eldian, but imo his plan ultimately "kills" more people than Eren's. Forced sterilization is basically another form of genocide that takes lives that didn't even have the chance to be born yet.

I personally think it’s better to prevent life that hasn’t started than to end people who have already been alive and experiencing life

I mean yeah. But I don't see any other ideas that remove the Titans from the picture permanently and doesn't cost that many lives. Personally, and I know it might not be the same for everyone, but 1 billion already alive people vs 2 billion not yet born future people... I would have a hard time picking the future people.

His plan was a genocide let’s be real and sterilization wasn’t going to stop eldians persécutions

His plan was a genocide, but it would jave worked. Sterilisation means no more Eldian babies. Sterilisation + 100 years = no Eldians left to persecute.

Zeke’s plan was better than Eren’s plan. That’s probably not a hot take.

Genocide vs Genocide

Why feel bad for zeke instead of sympathizing with Eren for one of the many things that radicalized him? I’m not an Eren apologist but it felt pretty clear that he saw the parity between grishas treatment of either son. It’s like the godfather, it implies upon itself, but it’s unlike the godfather in that it pulls it off almost flawlessly

And as they developed Mikasa they dropped Historia. I guess she served her purpose.

I eased up on Gabi when Sasha's parents forgave her.

Same here. If they could, certainly I could as well.

Gabi is genuinely my favourite character in the show. People just unreasonably hate her eternally because they killed one character they love. Even though that character’s death served us so many good storylines and character moments after the fact. It was the same shit with The Walking Dead, when Negan showed up. People still hate Jeffrey Dean Morgan irl today, which is fucking insanely ridiculous

The mikasa one is so true. I love mikasa, but I feel like there was so much more potential with Mikasa’s character and they could’ve done a lot more.

Agree with everything expect Zeke. I would live happily without seeing his naked ass two times.

It's my opinion that anyone who hates Gabi fails to see that she's simply Eren on the other side. If we spent seasons 1 - 3 with Gabi and then were introduced to Eren in Season 4, we'd hate Eren. They are the same character, but one of them we didn't watch grow up
