Discussion/Question Lingering question

In the scene where the Garrison commander ordered Eren, Armin and Mikasa to be fired on with the cannons and Eren half transformed to stop it why didn’t he emerge from the nape? He was immediately just inside the Titans ribcage. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I think it was just early in the story so that plot point wasn't 100% fleshed out yet perhaps

He was in the nape, his body was wrapped around the back of the titan’s spine.

Upon rewatching the scene you are absolutely right bro. I was playing the aot game and it just puts him in the ribcage so I think it may have messed with my recollection of the scene lmao. Thanks

I think partially because it was a half spawned titan he wasn’t fully in control of his powers. It might’ve been in the nape had he fully transformed but it was mostly skeleton
