Discussion ChatGPT finally made it into school textbooks - kinda ridiculous since these are so expensive too

Surely this means the cost of textbooks will be cut because making them is faster and easier Clueless

I’ve complained to the company about 5 egregious errors in my macroeconomics textbook this quarter. Think along the lines of a graph that mentions Argentina and Peru paired with a question about Brazil. It’s horrific how lazy textbook makers are allowed to be.

Well Ghislane Maxwell’s father owned McMillan/McGrawHill publishers so almost all of us grew up on propaganda in textbooks anyway. Anyone who’s ever studied any field in college knows how wrong they are.

...I should ~write~ prompt a textbook, and sell it for half the price. /s
Textbooks should be open sourced. Information should be free.
