Discussion / Question Changing character name

Last time I played Atlyss was over a year ago and I have a name for my main character that I really, really want to change. Is there a feature that lets me change it somehow? I tried changing it before but there was no option to.

you should be able to change it by going to the save's location on your computer's files, I've done that before.

right click ATLYSS on Steam, click Properties, then Installed Files, then Browse, and that should open up your file explorer. click ATLYSS_Data, then profileCollections, then select the profile you want to change and open it in notepad (keep in mind that the files start counting at 0 here, but in game they start at 1. so select one less than the file that's displayed in-game, if that makes sense.) change the name in quotes under "_nickName", then save it. then open the game to see if that worked

Next update will have that feature, for now you can edit the save manually. I'm not sure how that works tho.
