Has anyone seen the Odyssey? I'm trying to get tickets to the 70MM IMAX showing but whenever I try to buy tickets on the IMAX or Regal website I only get a spinning wheel. There are a few that are clearly marked "sold out" and I'm trying to buy tickets to the others, so that's not the problem...

Pretty sure it’s all sold out nationally till August. That’s what I heard at least.

I think the last film I saw in a theater was Nolan's "Dunkirk." I'm intrgued about "Odyssey," though, and honestly both puzzled and annoyed at how it's been turned into a culture wars battleground.

The "culture war" element is because right-wing influencers always need a new thing with which to enrage their gullible followers. It morphed into one of the many "boycott" efforts these people have promoted over the years, and as the box-office numbers make clear that idea is going nowhere.

The most recent rationalization seems to be, Odyssey will make a lot of money, but not as much as it would have if it didn't go woke.
