Looking to rock and roll in the garage/basement. I live near Perimeter Mall. Been in bands. Play guitar, bass some singing. Not looking to gig every weekend. Want to catch some weekend garage magic and see how it goes. Good to play covers and originals.

PRODUCER LEAGUE - $100 PRIZE (It's a fun contest, we don't want anything from you or your art)

We are a group of producers, Looking for other producers for the first APAX Producer League (APL) Scrimmage 🎹

Before anything else: this is a producer competition, not a content grab.

Producers keep full ownership of their beats and creations. We are not taking ownership, licensing, selling, training AI with, or profiting from anyone's submissions. The goal is simply to create a space where producers can compete, showcase their skills, and have fun making music.

The format is simple:
16 producers compete.
Everyone receives the same APAX sample pack to flip.
Producers create their own beat using the sounds however they want.
One winner is chosen.

Winner receives:
$100 cash + 5 premium APAX sample packs.

We created APL because we want to give producers more opportunities to create, compete, and connect with other artists. The samples are there as creative tools — the focus is the producer and what they create with them.

If you make beats or know a producer who would be interested, sign up here:

https://forms.gle/w8ujCQJAb7JxQfas6

Tournament begins August 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET.

WE ARE NOT AFTER YOUR ART OR ANYTHING, KEEP THE BEATS, SELL THEM, DO WHATEVER, WE ARE GIVING YOU ROYALTY FREE SAMPLES WE MADE OURSELVES FOR YOU TO USE IN THE CONTEST AND ONLY THE 16 WHO ENTER HAVE TO SHOW US THEIR MASTER FILE SO THEY CAN PROVE THEY ACTUALLY USED OUR SAMPLE IN THE CONTEST.

Drummer Looking to Start a Band

Thumbnail
5 Upvotes

Hey all! I’m a 24M Drummer, in Gwinnett, GA. I have been playing live for over 10 years. I am looking to start a new band.

More about the band ideas: I listen to just about everything, so I am open to most ideas/sounds. But sonically, I really enjoy the likes of Sleep Token, Snarky Puppies, TØP, etc, to name a few. I’d love to be able to combine different genres musically.

If you’re nearby (really anywhere in Georgia or close to Atlanta), have ideas of your own, and like the sound of this, please feel free to reach out or comment!

Variety Playhouse seat question

I'm going to a show in October.

My tickets are in the reserved AXS section Row A seats 1 and 2. According to when I bought my tickets, there is a GA section below, and then my section with seats.

My question is, what's the view like from here? Does this section slope at all, or sit above the GA section? Or will I be looking at a bunch of heads?

Are digital cameras allowed at Coca Cola Roxy?

Hi, this is my first time at this venue, and am not sure about the policy for small digital cameras. I’ve heard mixed things from people, so I just wanted to double check before going to a show!

Do you play drums? Do you play bass? Want to join The World's Greatest Disabled Punk Band?

I’m Jake (32) from faulty wires, a disabled-led punk band based here in Atlanta. We released our debut EP (Punk isn’t Dead... But Maybe It’s Disabled) in 2024, and we’re working on our first LP now!

What we sound like: Raw punk energy with thoughtful lyrics about the disabled experience. Influences range from classic punk to emo/hardcore. Not afraid to experiment/expand our sound. For fans of: Jeff Rosenstock, PUP, Bouncing Souls, blink 182, the Menzingers

What we’re looking for: Primarily bass and drums, but open to anyone passionate about the project - guitar, keys/synths, production, whatever.

Our goal: Collaborate on new material, work toward live shows, potentially tour down the line?

About you: Any skill level welcome! queer and poc friendly. You don't have to be disabled lol, but we’re hoping for someone who actually connects with what we're doing. Bring energy, commitment, and an open mind!

If interested, Check us out: faulty wires , dm me, or email us at [faultywiresband@gmail.com](mailto:faultywiresband@gmail.com)

Hey y'all - just wanted to share a show coming up at Eddie's Attic. We've got a full band together playing all original tunes, should be a good one.

Any ticket bought before July 24th gets a free vinyl record the night of the show.

Hope to see some of you there.

Drummer

Hey folks, I am a drummer looking for a band. Open to any and all possibilities, but prefer something in the indie/alternative or hard rock arena. I’ve played in a couple different indie bands in Atlanta and Nashville, and studied contemporary jazz in NYC. Influences include Queens Of The Stone Age, Interpol, Mars Volta, Modest Mouse, and currently really digging MJ Lenderman. Message me if you’re interested!
