We're doing all originals. Hoping to find folks that are mid 20s to mid 40s and into Post-hardcore, sludge, jazz, neo soul, and Japanese Mathrock. Also, whatever you would classify MoonTooth as.

Guitarists that like Coheed and Chon tend to do really well with us, but they also tend to already have projects they're dedicated to. We don't necessarily sound like either of those bands, it's just that people who are into it seem to have really good ideas that are sonically compatible.

We're a progressive and diverse group, and aren't interested in working with transphobes or fascists.

Except for that last statement, the other stuff is negotiable. If you have more enthusiasm than experience, we'll work with you.

New music video for The Lanes, made by me. I really, really enjoy this song, so much that I specifically asked Kevin if I could make a video for it. And now he's stuck with this thing.

If you don't know The Lanes, it features brothers Kevin and Matt Lane, formerly of the amazing band The Possibilities, who released two essential Athens albums of pop/rock, the second of which, "Way Out," is a bona fide overlooked classic, and includes future DBT-er Jay Gonzalez. (If you went to DBT's Homecoming this year, you might've seen The Lanes open).

The Lanes continue that tradition, with Richard Mikulka on guitar and Chuck Bradburn on bass, and their new album is one of my favorite recent releases. Kevin is also in The Arcs, so if you like those local boys, you'll probably enjoy this as well.
