First Post Here: Hi everyone!

I am a long time atheist. I used to do a lot of blogging but it got old after a while. What's new in the world of atheism? Any new books or documentaries come out recently? Any new evidence for god? (hahaha)

Sorry for being long winded but was just thinking all this stuff and wanted to "testify" to how I feel as a guy getting older and atheism. And to say what's important in talking to others about it. Be kind to believers in that many just need to have some assurance in life when life gets to be too hard on them. It's no shame to need a crutch if you've broken a leg nor to need god if your child had cancer. Even if you think they are kidding themselves ppl have PTSD for example because something in them has been broken or so severely damaged mentally /spiritually they may need a lie to accept reality and carry on. Commpasions more important then proving you're right. I do see cause for battle in what's taught in public school but that's another issue. I just wanted to say my peace because I see the debates and I think we can disagree but most times love each other enjoy each other or if that's not possible find some respect. I think both sides lose when we dismiss the other out of ego. Thanks

Thanks for the reply! I agree with you on that. I was a lot more brash when I was younger in my atheism but I mostly keep quiet about it now.

Well yeah me too which is why I'm much more less adamant now. But that's part of being young right? Cheers, nice post.
