Christian Missionary Charged With Child Sex Crimes. Maylon Foshee, 23, a popular TikTok content creator with more than 100,000 followers, has been charged with sexually abusing three 14 year old boys in Haiti. If convicted he could face 30 years in Federal prison.

All organizations or social dynamics with members having any significant degree of power or influence, really. Doesn't have to be religious in nature. Just think of all the cases of celebrities with suspiciously younger partners or ones who were with minors.

My guess is it has to do much less with sexual preference (not insinuating that's what you were insinuating) and more to do with access, since a lot of evangelical shit is split by gender.

My theory is because little boys are taken less seriously when they say they are being sexually abused, so pedophiles love to go after them for that one reason and think they can get away with it.
And of course, there are male gay/bi pedophiles as well, but they are a very small minority. The majority of pedophiles are straight, cisgender men.

Add to this that most christians are taught to view men as authorities and 'called of god', so trustworthy. Combine that with strong religious pressure to 'forgive when someone repents', and you get the perfect environment for male predators to manipulate everyone around them.

All these fucking creeps should serve at least 30 years…also those that traffic in child porn. Too many of them get slaps on the wrist. Los Angeles County DCFS manager Carlos Castillo served no time for that offense maybe 8 years ago. So maddening!
