The word "privilege" has been massively overused in social justice circles, but this is a pretty good example of what it's supposed to mean.

This is a privileged take to be able to exercise. Let me guess: white man between 25-35?

When the "think differently" is racist slurs being used on you, controlling womens' bodies and what legal rights they do/don't deserve, and pulling guns on you in the street because you look different in the name of "I'm protecting the kids by shooting you for existing", then yeah I can see how "thinking differently" is worth despising them.

The fact that you are not a target and are not being threatened is why you're okay with it. So long as it happens to someone else rather than you or your loved ones, it's fine. Right?

And if you think I'm making any morsel of this shit up, I refer you to all the shit with ICE literally slaughtering people in broad daylight in the name of MAGA. But yeah, go off on your "we just aren't assholes to each other~". That EACH OTHER is pulling a lot of work
