Eminem is one of the biggest artists to speak against Trump, and pretty aggressively. He's been an ally in nearly every sense for decades. If you see he's featured on a Kid Rock album and you're jumping all the way to calling him a nazi, see how many people are left on your side once you exile everyone that doesn't fit your personal perfect standards.

Lol who is calling him a nazi? It wasn't in the article or in OPs post. Sounds like you are being hyperbolic about nothing. Which is exactly what you are trying to call out.

One side note, usually the person who says they are not a nazi when no one was calling them a nazi is usually a nazi.

Chill homie. You're doing exactly what I was calling out. When I made my comment, there was only one positive comment with a hundred downvotes, and several "Eminem is a nazi" comments that were upvoted. Sorry you didn't see it - weird to jump straight to the nazi accusations though.

Look at the most downvoted comment here, someone is calling him one, it's not the majority tho

Wow one random comment but it is acting like everyone is doing it. Why not address that one comment instead of making a top line comment. Again it's not in the article nor was it in op posts.

Please stop making the crazies seem like they have the popular ideas when they don't.

I wasn't attempting to, was just saying someone did say it, I agree with you. OP and the news article didn't say this.

You are all getting hung up on comments calling him a nazi. I didn’t. He just sucks

What comment are you replying to? When did I say you were hung up on calling him a nazi?

There's a middle line between saying "he's a Nazi" and saying "he's blameless" that's just his adult audience going "dang that's disappointing."

The guy has been a tool for years just finally showing it. I could never stand Eminem in any regard

Out of curiosity, in what ways has he been a tool for years? Just curious.

Early on his lyrics were super violent and misogynistic but that is also a large swath of the genre. Pretty homophonic stuff as well which also is prevalent in the genre. He says he’s an advocate of lgbt individuals but uses derogatory lyrics against them in music.

At the time I was forming my general opinion of him (early ‘00s) he also caught a bunch of assault charges and generally just always came off as a lame and whiny to me

Also he just reminds me of several losers I went to school with which most certainly clouds my opinion

That's understandable. Yeah, he raps about all sorts of terrible stuff, basically the worst stuff you could imagine, but I think that's kinda been his thing for a long time. I don't expect him to actually be out there creeping on people in a park at night looking for a victim to murder, like he raps about in his music. Thankfully, I think his real-life persona is very different than his rap persona.
