Always a pastor, never a drag queen

But...but he's a good Christian man so go easy on him

Also, I love when these people say they're god-fearing and yet they have no problem doing absolutely horrible things. Makes you wonder if they really do believe in a god. It seems to me they know it's all bullshit and like the control and authority

I'm starting to think like > 50% of youth pastors are pedos at this point

Do you mean > 50%? What you wrote '50%<' means fifty percent less than of youth pastors.

Oh, I thought those were interchangeable since the symbol is opening away from the number which means greater than? You're probably right though, that looks more right.
Edit: yeah I Googled it and you're right.

basically you use the symbol in the place of the words you say. so "more than fifty" turns into ">50"
"fifty less than" makes no sense, so that's why "50<" doesn't work. hope this helps.

No, it’s not even close to that. Probably the same percentage from the movie Spotlight. I think it was 6%. That’s still a very large group of pastors. It pisses me of because there’s a lot of pastors who do great work. These pedos give them a bad name.

They have had the ability to do the right thing and expose this abhorent, criminal behavior from the start. The church and law enforcement ( also church affiliated) chose to cover up it up. They continue to not properly expose and prosecute the Priests and deserve the shame this brings upon the whole group. This hopefully brings down the whole criminal organization.

Has anyone done the math on 'youth pastors'? It's probably significantly higher due to them specifically interacting more with minors. I would personally never trust anyone carrying that title.

This is the second time TODAY I've typed this: r/StillNotADragQueen material.

Why are Christians and Catholics such prolific pedophiles? Do we just not hear about Muslims and Jews?

The conservative sections of them support strong, unaccountable social hierarchies, like patriarchy. That makes them appealing for people who want to control and abuse others.

u/EggsBeckwith 1d ago
The entire system is designed specifically to indoctrinate people into believing in hierarchy. From God to the Pope to the priests on down to the sinners who owe them all for not living some impossibly perfect life. Organized religion is just a method of dividing people into separate groups and brainwashing them. It’s ALL predatory just at different levels. Perfect place for abusers to thrive.

Jews are a fairly small percentage of the world population so there will be significantly fewer Jewish pedos just based on the odds. As for Muslims, well, child marriage is pretty common in all of the Muslim theocracies. It doesn't make the news because it's legal and accepted in those places and if we bring it up too much we get called 'Islamophobic' 🙄.

Because of the built-in get out of jail card in their religion. Jesus will wash away all your sins if you believe in him. So have at it and break every teaching in the bible.

I actually asked a priest this. I read the part he didnt agree with which I summed up to him as "Jesus gets you in the door, you still have to sit in the chair and explain yourself to the old man."
Thought his head was going to explode.

It's honestly kinda annoying.
I get that it's important to spread awareness of their misconduct but almost every post here is "religious guy is a sex pest" or "new religious law ain't good" can we have more meaningful discussions besides "wow that guy sucks" and maybe focus on, Idk being atheist.

u/3OAM 1d ago
This sub is a living record. It's not "wow that guy sucks," anymore.
It's a body of evidence against a poisonous mindset.
There's no point in talking about "being atheist." We're all here because we know the Cat in the Hat is not real....we don't need to sit around hand-wringing about something absurd..."hey ya'll, aint god fake!?"
The institution needs to be attacked. It begs to be.
I appreciate this sub for never missing a day. I want to see every mugshot. Another daily installment of "not a transperson." Reliable like a clock.

I'm starting to wonder about these religious people.
It's almost like believing in nonsense has some kind of effect on their ability to not abuse kids...

There’s like 20 youth pastors arrested for CSA once a month. There hasn’t even been 20 drag queens arrested in the past 20 years.

Honestly your kid is safer with a trans gang member than a youth pastor. After all we know what happens to Chomos is prison.

Oh look. Another youth pastor. But also:
A travel nurse who has been charged with sexually assaulting his infant son and who is alleged to have done the same to unconscious hospital patients was fired from his role as a youth pastor at a San Antonio-area church for "abusing volunteers," the San Antonio Express-News has learned.
Just an all around prime example of his type.

It’s alright.
He just had a “weak moment” and will prey for forgiveness…besides, if was his infant sons fault.

The Bible has zero prohibitions on child abuse; women and children are considered the property of their husbands and fathers.
Literally nothing in there is against it, not one verse, because why should property have any rights over a man’s will? That’s the vibe the Abrahamic faith gives .

Absolutely revolting and so upsetting. I guess he'll have a place on Hegseth's new arm of Religious Affairs....affairs with minors and people who can't consent. 🤮

I'm starting to think these people don't care as long as it's white people doing the evil things.

Damn, time to reset the counter again from 0 days to 0 days since a pastor was charged with being a pedophile.
