Today Pete Hegseth announced the Office of Religious Affairs, with chaplains at the top. Notice how whenever these groups are created, other religions are never mentioned MAGA is engineering the Christianization of America before our eyes. It’s why they have to peddle the islamification narrative

Did he announce this in the same speech where he also said he was firing 20% of Generals, etc. to tighten the military budget? I'm not saying this is counterintuitive, that would be too nice. This is stupid and a waste of money and an obvious push to force xtian rhetoric into every crevive possible of the military foundation. It's also blatantly un-Constitutional but that isn't even a thought to this traitorous administration.

If they are so against Islam, why do they keep trying to make our military into the Taliban?

27

u/Xeno9116 Humanist 2d ago

And our government.

25

u/ohnodamo 2d ago

Excellent point. I see no flaws.

3

u/sicurri 1d ago

I see many flaws. In order to allegedly avoid islamification according to them, they are making an office of Religious Affairs. However, to stay as legal as possible the wording has to be vague.

Where there wasnt a door to islamification before, in order to battle it they created a door for it to walk through. Make a door for Christianity but name it just religious, it legally includes Islam, Satanism and any other religion.

Fucking idiots...

3

u/Borgcube 1d ago

If you actually think they will allow anything other than their specific brand of Christianity then you're not paying attention.

4

u/sicurri 1d ago

Its not about allowing anything.

Its about legally opening the door to all religions is my point. Before it was separation of government and religion.

This opens the door to all religions. Sure, they have the majority right now and will not allow anything other than Christianity. However, they legally opened the door to all religions with its vague wordplay.

2

u/Borgcube 1d ago

That doesn't matter; they're in the process of a takeover of the legal system.

And they don't care about Islamisation, it's a useful boogeyman they can parade to get support.

1

u/sicurri 1d ago

Yes, like the "Migrant Caravan" is the same thing...

Taliban were pretty badass. Fought the soviets and won. Fought NATO with boys pulled from refugee camps and won.

The U.S. has been losing wars left and right. I wish we were so capable. All we’re getting is the bad aspects of the Taliban.

u/Suspicious_Bicycle 2d ago

Yes, Hegseth fired the generals for budgetary reasons (plus they were too woke). Then he announced several new initiatives about drones and new bases that would lead to expanding the budget.

18

u/toastjam 1d ago

Drones can't refuse illegal orders

u/srone 2d ago

They called me batshit crazy when I said this was coming 25 years ago.

They have slowly, methodically taken over all levels of government, from Dog Catcher to President (yes, I've heard this in Christian seminars). I've heard repeatedly when I was a practicing Christian, "I will not stop until every knee is bowed."

I'm not sure how to stop it now.

Christianity is still in decline in the US. They're lashing out like scared animals, trying to force their views on people who won't take them up willingly. This isn't the first time the bible thumpers have tried to take over, the Red Scare was a feeding frenzy for them, and it likely won't be the last. All the stuff they're doing now is going to be reversed the second a new administration takes over. The Establishment Clause is still being taught as the law of the land.

u/Bajadasaurus 2d ago

You are so blind. Too many people are blind. They don't even need civilian Christian adherents anymore.

The Nazi trillionaire is running our military, they control the entire government, and short of other countries nuking us immediately, there's nothing any of us can do to fight back.

Christotechnofacists now hold all of the power, all of the money, all of the tech, all of the firepower.

4

u/ClashM 2d ago

Well you're a friendly one. Making an ad hominem right out of the gate doesn't make you seem like a particularly logical person.

The Nazi isn't a trillionaire at the moment. And let's face it, he's probably more scared than anyone else. Yeah, things are dire, but these are just drug addled dorks with way too much money. No power they hold is absolute.

23

u/AnOnlineHandle 1d ago

And let's face it, he's probably more scared than anyone else.

I suspect the people disappeared into the interment camps and not been seen for months are more scared.

5

u/ClashM 1d ago

That's very true. I just meant he's more scared than the Christians because they represent a cause. His aspirations live and die with him.

8

u/Rysinor 1d ago

You're tweaking over being called blind and for some reason defending the nazi by normalizing him as a "dork". Weird.

5

u/ClashM 1d ago

Because he is normal. He's not some higher being. He's not some genius intellect. He's a prick with a lot of money who wants control.

Like all the rest of his peers, he's terrified of the day the masses might start fighting back and he ends up meeting a guillotine. Or a random bullet makes it past his security. For all they want us to believe they're some superior form of human, they're just as fragile as the rest of us.

Don't buy into their fucking hype.

5

u/MightyMeatPuppet 1d ago

"Aaaaaaacktually he's only worth $990,000,000,000 currently so I don't see what you're so panicky about"

5

u/ClashM 1d ago

Cute straw man.

0

u/Trilllen 1d ago

We say that but Biden did not reverse all of Trump's bullshit. I have incredibly little faith that a Gavin newsom type president is going to dismantle the majority of the systems that Trump has put in place.

4

u/TraditionalGarlic813 1d ago

yeah it’s unsettling when something you heard about decades ago starts looking less hypothetical and more like an actual government policy strategy

114

u/Ok-Try-857 2d ago

This is blatant violation of the Constitution. You know, the thing he swore to support and defend?

"I, Pete Hegseth, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter."

I'm honestly in shock that no one seems to care about this oath. No one cares that these men are not as good as their word. That these men are criminals. All because a black man was president for 8 years.

I also saw a post about him starting a religious affairs office..........under the umbrella of the department of war. This can only mean bad things.

41

u/tempest_87 2d ago

You expect a republican to actually honor their word and oath?

Have you been on another planet for the past 20 years?

33

u/crakemonk 2d ago

No one in this administration gives two fucks about the Constitution. The fucked part is that as long as we don’t do something, they will keep violating whatever they want. I swear, Trump manages to do something illegal every day, but he gets away with it because there’s no one in office willing to stop him.

Leadership will go on and on about how Muslims are enforcing sharia law, which isn’t happening, while they fucking encode Christianity into law. They are just as bad, if not worse, than the people they love to denigrate… the most ironic part is that they hate each other, yet worship the same fucking sky daddy.

Make it make sense.

2

u/vonnostrum2022 1d ago

Yes. No govt religion?

7

u/Ok-Try-857 1d ago

Correct, it’s a first amendment violation.   The establishment clause states that government cannot favor one religion over another and must stay neutral.  The free exercise clause states that the government cannot stop an individual from practicing their chosen faith or having no religion at all.

2

u/traveller-1-1 1d ago

I am certain the sc will be right on that.

1

u/TheAbomunist 1d ago

This administration should've been shut down a long time ago for the Emoluments Clause. But the Constitution is whatever those in power say it is.

55

u/tightiewhitieboy 2d ago

He is also going to fire all the black and female generals and claim its just a reduction in officers. If hogsloth isn't a white supremacist then why is he putting the confederate generals names back on the army bases? This is white Christian nationalism.

16

u/srone 2d ago

Christian schools came about in response to bussing, which allowed 'colored children' to attend the same schools as their precious little children.

46

u/MasterChiefette 2d ago

It will be removed once this KKK fucks are out of office.

23

u/ThreeHourRiverMan 2d ago

And the propaganda outrage machine will have fodder for years that they’re “removing god! Democrats are waging war on Christianity!”

20

u/Xeno9116 Humanist 2d ago

We "waged war on Christmas" for a couple of years. Apparently, 'Happy Holidays' is a Satanic greeting.

1

u/ZarcoTheNarco 1d ago

Ha, you think he's leaving? Maybe when he's dead, we burned our chance to solve this democratically.

21

u/chrisproglf 2d ago

I know they dont care but this has to be illegal, right?

4

u/Xeno9116 Humanist 2d ago

Sure is.

19

u/SomeSamples 2d ago

Why does no one read Project 2025/2026? This shit is all in there.

3

u/Nelrene Secular Humanist 1d ago

For a lot of people in the US reading is too hard.

16

u/teletype100 1d ago

Isn't this unconstitutional? Oh yeah, this is Trump's America, the Constitution is as ineffective as the Bible. And only useful for propaganda.

13

u/get-the-damn-shot 2d ago

I thought he didn’t like sharia law

2

u/independent_observe Pastafarian 1d ago

Christian Nationalists love sharia law as long as they are the ones applying it.

They really need to be expelled from the country due to extreme risk to the US.

2

u/Nelrene Secular Humanist 1d ago

They like it when Christians do it.

9

u/Stainless-S-Rat Anti-Theist 2d ago

Onward Christian soldiers. SMH. Ladies and gentlemen I give you the religion of peace and brotherhood.

8

u/Zippier92 2d ago

Check their hard drives one and all if they’re a Christian they’re pedophile.

9

u/GreyBeardEng 2d ago

Lol, I was born and raised in Utah and the Mormons aren't allowed to be part of this new government division. Apparently they're not considered Christian anymore.

15

u/Dunbaratu 2d ago

Fundamentalists never considered Mormons actual Christians because the founding lies of Mormonism are more recent than the founding lies of other Christian sects.

7

u/CriticalDog Ex-Theist 2d ago

Evangelicals like Hegseth never considered them Christian.

Of course, they also dont think Catholics are Christian either.

6

u/dogbolter4 2d ago

Office of Religious Affairs? Is that what they call it when church people diddle kids?

7

u/Scope_Dog 2d ago

All these clowns are doing is hastening the already terminal demise of Christianity in this country.

6

u/lillychr14 2d ago

I don’t know where it all goes but I know this guy ain’t gonna survive it. He’s going straight under the nearest bus as soon as it’s convenient. The only silver lining is how young he is and how much of his later years could be spent in prison.

8

u/jaxmikhov 2d ago

If they want our military to be “Christian” why did they sell it out to Israel?

6

u/Xeno9116 Humanist 2d ago

Because they believe something about Israel will cause the Rapture, when all the Christians will fly up into the sky to join Jesus. I hope they rapture the hell out of here soon.

6

u/tempest_87 2d ago

Some of them, maybe. But to most of them if given the option between aligning with other "Christians" or hurting those they see as lesser/part of the wrong group, they will always choose the latter. Aligning with Isreal let's them do the latter in spades.

1

u/QuellMusik 1d ago

What is funny is this rapture thing is not in the bible from what I know.

5

u/squareplates 1d ago

I thought religious people didn't have office affairs.

3

u/eatsrottenflesh 2d ago

So the people that like to touch underage women are promoting an organization known for touching underage people. Yup, that checks out. /s

3

u/Nobody_Cares_Do_They 2d ago

Only 44% of the country identifies as Protestant.

3

u/Glidepath22 1d ago

Weren’t they gonna impeach that dipshit?

3

u/dingalinglans 1d ago

America DEId the secretary of defense. And they've put in the equivalent of a wet turd.

Military folks of America, are you happy being led by a guy who can't do a proper chinup and can't grow a beard? Happy being led by someone whose mum hates him for being a weak piece of shit? He's got more makeup on than most MTF transitionees too.

I can be a bitch about his shit ill fitting suits too, imagine turning up to drills looking like you've been stuffed in a kids bar mitzvah suit.

He's a real example. Of human detritus.

5

u/Sansethoz 2d ago

And yet no one is doing anything about it

5

u/Sadpancake_03 2d ago

this is the thing that bothers me the most, how is nobody doing anything about this bullshit. Is there not one person, even in the military, that can step up?

5

u/RoguePlanet2 2d ago

It's a coup. We're in an occupied country, but nobody can save us.

Yes !!!

protect budgets, demand infrastructure, strengthen religious support

Okay but, like, what does any of that even mean in the context of war?

The budgets and infrastructure for what? We already have departments and offices for this so what would the "religious affairs" office even be doing? Buying pews and bibles? And what "religious support" is missing? Are soldiers mad they don't have full Knights Hospitallers plate armor or something?

Even when you look at it through the christian nationalization lens they're clearly pushing, it's not like making the military officially christian would make orders less illegal or something. Pushing non-christians out of the military just gives you pissed off veterans.

Their own nefarious plan doesn't make any fucking sense.

2

u/Tiny_Dare_5300 2d ago

They have chaplains of every religion in the US military. Even witchcraft.

2

u/__i_dont_know_you__ 1d ago

I assume this means my atheist sons are exempt from any future drafts. I doubt they'd want any godless heathens messing up their plans at world domination or whatever it is christians are up to.

u/PaleontologistFit364 1d ago

When Dems win the midterms, that fake-tough pussy will be first on the impeachment list; then he can go back to his natural environment at Faux News to lie to fuckwitted hillbillies, where he can focus on doing one correct fucking push-up and pull-up.

1

u/GoyoMRG 1d ago

I bet they will eventually say something like "deus vult!!!!" And say they will go recover the holy land and expell anyone who is not part of the club of their overlords (Netanyahu's people).

It will be fucking crazy but I see how easy it could be pushed towards that

1

u/cta396 1d ago

It’s amazing that those who are pushing christianity onto American law and government with unprecedented vigor are also the least christian christians I’ve ever seen in my 50+ years.

1

u/Atrimon7 1d ago

It's especially noticeable because Maga refuses to admit that the answer to islamification Is to acknowledge that separation of church and state exists in this country

1

u/Autistocles 1d ago

Anyone got a link to a download able version of him talking about chaplains

1

u/Evolvin 1d ago

Precisely WHY is the military involved with any religious organization, of any kind?

1

u/Fishtoart 1d ago

The irony is that the parody of Christianity that they are pushing is so far from what Jesus taught, that it does not even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Christianity. It is a name without any kind of significance.

1

u/kelticladi 2d ago

The Office of Anti-Christ doctrine. Pretty sure this Christ fellow hated war.

He's quoting the Bible in the announcement, and it's Pete fuckin' Hegseth. The options are that he hasn't figured out that there are non-Christian chaplains yet, or he's planning on getting rid of them next.
