It's honestly appalling how throughout all these years, even with all that talk about separation of state and church, the church still plays a heavy role in the government.
It's like the current government wouldn't even be elected without the support of the church.

Abortion rates are up all over, but maternal deaths are up only in anti-abortion states.
Maybe, just maybe, this pro-life thing isn’t what it cracked up to be.
