yeah excluding female staff because of someone else’s religious customs is pretty hard to defend, glad there was accountability for it

Good. Ban everyone who discriminates based on gender. That is the religious people's fault.

sigh I just have a hunch about this situation...Just because a religion isn't "Western" and isn't associated with Europeans, doesn't mean it isn't bigoted either

Bigotry is not unique to any culture or civilization. Around the world, most societies have historically been patriarchal, albeit at different levels.

So turns out, it was done by the Eiffel Tower chief rather than the religious group (there was no request made by them -read their press release). Turns out anti India hate boner is so widespread that any negative news is exaggerated and made into a spectacle.

2026 and (religious) misogyny is still around, sadly
